The Opportunity

We're seeking a visionary Head of SEO to drive our organic growth strategy across both B2B and B2C segments. You'll lead our efforts to connect millions of freelancers with businesses seeking their expertise, while optimizing our marketplace's visibility and engagement through innovative SEO strategies.

Core Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy targeting both freelancers and businesses

• Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, content creators, and analysts

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to drive platform growth

• Create data-driven roadmaps for organic traffic growth and conversion optimization

Technical Excellence

• Drive technical SEO initiatives to optimize our marketplace's performance

• Implement advanced SEO automation using AI and machine learning

• Oversee website architecture optimization for both user segments

• Monitor and improve core web vitals and overall site health

Content & Market Growth

• Design dual-funnel content strategies for freelancer acquisition and business clients

• Optimize marketplace listings and user-generated content for maximum visibility

• Develop international SEO strategies for global market expansion

• Create and optimize landing pages for various service categories and skill sets

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of SEO experience, with proven success in marketplace or platform businesses

• Strong track record of driving significant organic traffic growth

• Experience with both B2B and B2C SEO strategies

• Deep understanding of technical SEO and content optimization

• Expert knowledge of SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, etc.)

• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making

• Experience managing and developing teams

Nice to Have

• Understanding of Python for SEO automation and data analysis

• Knowledge of React for collaboration with the frontend team

• Experience with AI/ML applications in SEO

• Marketplace or platform business experience

• International SEO experience
