Role Overview

The role focuses on developing, maintaining and securing network functions in alignment with Global Coupang Network standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Global Network Team to design, architect, implement, and support network infrastructure while troubleshooting and optimizing networks to support Coupang's business and global expansion, including Taiwan.

This position requires extensive experience in network deployment and operational support, strong problem-solving skills, and expertise in network administration and architecture. A passion for security, data protection, and continuous improvement in network practices is essential. The Staff Network Engineer will work closely with Corporate IT managers and stakeholders to plan, develop, and execute strategies. Familiarity with network infrastructure in logistic settings, such as warehouses, fulfillment centers, and deliver centers, is a plus.

What You Will Do

• Design, plan, and implement network infrastructure for Fulfilment Center, Delivery Centers, Corporate Offices and Data Center.
• Design, deploy and support network Infra that encompasses Wi-Fi, Core Networking, SDWAN, Firewalls etc.
• Work closely with stakeholders, understand Business needs and provide appropriate network solutions.
• Ensure High Availability of Network Services
• Identify appropriate network providers and solutions.
• Work with other IT teams to resolve IT related incidents.
• Ensuring the local network is responsive to user demands.
• Scaling network services to serve growing businesses.
• Create, oversee, and evaluate security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)
• Monitor network performance and integrity.
• Communicate with users and stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines
• Ensuring operating environments stay safe and secure.
• Experience working in a high-pressured environment with 24x7 on-call responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications  

• 12+ years of working with Large Enterprise networks.
• In-depth experience in Cisco Wi-Fi, Switching, Routing, SDWAN, ISE
• Knowledge on Firewall Administration
• Lead the team technically in devising new solutions and developing continuous improvements.
• Solid background in network administration and architecture
• Knowledge in routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), switching, network security
• Familiarity with access control models and network security
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools.
• Solid understanding of network operating systems
• Sharp troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior members in the team.
• Capable of training Help Desk staff on new technologies implemented.
• Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Update on the emerging network technologies.
• Professional certification (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Palo Alto - IPSec VPN, GlobalProtect,
• Experience working in startups, ecommerce. 
• Knowledge of project management principles.
