Upside Recruiting
About the job
Meet Upside:
We created Upside to transform brick-and-mortar commerce. Our technology uses the sophistication of online retail—profit measurement, attribution, and incrementality—to provide users with more value on their everyday purchases and brick-and-mortar businesses with new, profitable customers. We've helped millions of users earn 2 to 3 times more cashback than any other product, and hundreds of thousands of brick-and-mortar businesses earn measurable profit. Billions of dollars in commerce run through the Upside platform every year, and that value goes directly back to our retailer partners, the consumers they serve, and important sustainability initiatives.
The Impact You'll Make:
You'll report to the CMO and President, Consumer, and you'll lead our transformation from a successful single-vertical business to a thriving multi-vertical platform. Your work will help acquire and retain customers with diverse needs and shape our future growth trajectory. In this role, you will:
- Lead the development of the Growth Product Management team, encouraging professional development and providing a collaborative, curious, and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and new ideas.
- Build a growth strategy focused on scaling product adoption, increasing engagement, and driving sustainable revenue growth.
- Create quarterly product roadmaps focused on growth-focused product initiatives that support feature adoption, boost user engagement, improve acquisition and retention, and align with our revenue goals.
- Collaborate and cultivate relationships across marketing, product, analytics, engineering, and other teams to deliver meaningful growth projects and build a world-class product experience.
- Identify opportunities for marketing automation, including applying AI and ML tools to enhance personalization, customer segmentation, and operational efficiency across growth product management efforts.
- Use data-driven insights to refine user experiences across the customer journey, set learning agendas through analysis of performance metrics, market trends, and competitive insights, and present growth performance and strategic insights to leadership, using data to refine growth strategies and identify new opportunities for scale.
- Refine the experimentation and test-and-learn budget to explore growth opportunities and industry best practices.
What You Should Have:
- 12+ years of growth product management experience within a relevant industry, including building a high-performing team and partnering across departments.
- Experience with quantitative analysis and driving measurable growth in product adoption, customer engagement, and revenue through insights from data and customer feedback.
- MarTech stack knowledge and proficiency with growth analytics and product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Fullstory, and HotJar.

This hybrid role is required to work at our NYC office in the Flatiron District for 2 days/week.
