Seacap Software dramatically simplifies the process of achieving and maintaining cybersecurity compliance, audit preparation, and audit response.

The product is v1.x, so you aren't selling vaporware or tap-dancing around a minefield of bugs. We have paying customers and have resellers in the pipeline. The product has features that significantly differentiate it from competitive solutions and make it ideally suited to MSPs and MSSPs trying to extend their portfolio into compliance. Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Co-Founder with B2B experience selling subscription software to IT, cybersecurity, or compliance professionals. The sales and pricing model is straightforward and geared toward a quick yes/no. While the solution is robust, the sales model is transactional. This is a relatively new sector of a proven market (GRC) with increasing external pressure on companies to achieve verifiable compliance.

Our eventual goal is an 80:20 mix of channel:direct sales.

So, what are we looking for in a Sales Co-founder?

  1. Fearless and aggressive outreach to prospects (we realize our single biggest barrier to success is call volume)
  2. A dedicated CRM user (you understand the value sales analytics, because you know it will make your job easier in the future)
  3. Someone who is willing to be an individual contributor in the short-term, but is ready to build and lead a sales team
  4. Our next $30k in MRR (approximately 18 sales)

What are we willing to give?

  1. 5% equity for the next $30k in MRR
  2. 20% commission for that sales target
  3. An additional 2.5% equity if you can hit the sales target in 90 days
  4. A salaried position once you hit the target - your choice of being an individual contributor or executive

We are bootstrapped, so you'll have a lot of flexibility in defining your role, how sales will work in the organization, and setting pricing to get the deals done.
