Data Engineer

*Job Title: Data Engineer
Required Experience: 3+ years *

Key Responsibilities:

• Be part of a cross-functional Scrum team that develops and supports the product. You will be working hand in hand with the other R&D functions.
• Be involved in new feature development and provide inputs to POs and developers on the correct behavior of the system.
• Supporting customers and the support groups by analyzing and solving product issues

Required Skill

• Minimum 4 years experience as a data engineer
• Strong hands-on experience using Scala
• Should have experience on AWS cloud services (related to data pipeline)
• Should have experience with EMR, S3, Redshift, DocumentDB/MongoDB, Spark streaming, Spark, HDFS, Hive
• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline and should know performance tuning techniques
• Should be able to translate business requirements into working code
• Hands-on experience with Spark SQL
• Great analytical and debugging skills
• Should have worked in agile, should be able to add comments in ADO
• Strong communication skills and should be able to articulate technical viewpoints to Architect and Tech Lead

Nice to Have Skill

• Knowledge of Python and data science would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of CI CD tools such as Jenkins and version control tools such as Git will be an added advantage.
• AI knowledge will be a bonus.
