The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and data-driven intern to join our NewsGenie project. As a member of our team, you’ll get hands-on experience working with real-world news data, applying your knowledge to make an impact in the ever-growing world of text-based AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Preprocessing: Cleaning, normalizing, and structuring thousands of news articles for optimal analysis by LLMs.
• Data Analysis: Utilizing Python libraries like pandas and NLTK to extract patterns, trends, sentiment, and key topics from news content.
• Data Visualization: Develop compelling visualizations to effectively communicate insights generated from news data.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our team of AI engineers and data scientists to continuously improve NewsGenie’s data analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of:
• pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
• NLTK for natural language processing.
• Data visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong Interest: Passionate about data-driven insights and using technology to understand text
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
