As a Retention Marketing Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving customer loyalty and growth through innovative, personalized strategies that elevate the brand experience. Your efforts will ensure every customer feels valued, while helping us shape the future of women’s wellness.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategise, Develop, and Manage Multi-Channel Campaigns:
Lead the end-to-end development and management of retention marketing campaigns across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and on-web channels. Focus on optimising user retention, engagement, and loyalty.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally for Retention Success:
Partner with internal teams (Product, Brand & Ecommerce) and external partners to develop a consistent, engaging, and effective message strategy. Execute retention techniques like On-Site Messaging, push notifications, and other engagement tools across owned channels.
Craft Messaging and Creative Strategy:
Work closely with Brand and Product marketing teams to create compelling, user-centric messaging that aligns with business objectives and resonates across channels. Develop direct response creatives that increase user engagement and retention.
Establish and Practise Email Marketing Best Practices:
Define and share best practices in email marketing, including audience segmentation, frequency management, compliance, and creative optimisation. Provide training and guidelines to internal teams to align email tactics.
Targeted Audience Segmentation and Personalisation:
Use insights from digital platform usage to identify and segment user personas. Develop tailored communications for specific audiences and their lookalike groups, applying personalisation to enhance relevance and engagement.
Comprehensive Campaign Performance Analysis and Optimisation:
Track, measure, and analyse retention metrics and KPIs across campaigns. Develop a testing roadmap and implement data-driven optimisations to enhance conversion, upsell opportunities, and winback strategies.
Establish and Maintain a Testing and Optimisation Calendar:
Create and manage a structured testing calendar focused on email, SMS and WhatsApp along with other channels, refining segmentation, targeting, creative, and dynamic content strategies. Aim to continuously improve retention, engagement, and ROI through these tests.
Deliver Reporting and ROI Analysis:
Prepare regular reports that detail campaign performance, user engagement, conversion rates, and retention statistics. Use these insights to refine campaigns, proving the effectiveness and ROI of retention strategies.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Data-Driven, Analytical Mindset:
Proven track record in using data and analytics to drive decision-making and campaign improvements. Ability to define key metrics and interpret data to optimise strategies.
Project Management Skills:
Experience managing multiple campaigns from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within budget. Ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and priorities while keeping stakeholders informed.
Cross-Functional Communication and Collaboration:
Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across departments, including Brand, Product, Creative, and external partners.
Innovative and Solutions-Oriented:
Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to improve user retention. Skilled at bringing ideas to life through a collaborative and structured process.
Experience with Retention Marketing Platforms:
Familiarity with MoEngage, WebEngage, CleverTap or similar marketing tool is highly beneficial. Experience in leveraging the platform to implement, track, and optimise campaigns is a plus.
Content Strategy and Copywriting Skills:
Ability to assist with or lead content development, ensuring messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with user interests across retention channels.
Performance-Focused and ROI-Driven:
Strong background in KPI tracking and ROI analysis with a commitment to continuous improvement and revenue growth.
Contract: Full Time
Location: Remote (India)
Work Days: Monday to Friday
Work Timings: 9:30 am to 6 pm
Salary: INR 6 to 10 Lac per annum
