Canvs is looking for a bright individual to lead its content + product marketing and community networking initiatives. This is the role for a lead marketer and having a background in Design or a strong interest in Design is critical. The job shall entail building strategy and seeing through the execution of content marketing as a function and designer relationships under the Canvs masthead as not just the brand but also as Yourself.
You will be expected to know how to leverage content tech to build your content, talk to our designers, industry experts and build content that fits Canvs’ vision and long term agendas. This shall, therefore, require a penchant for holding conversations with new people, presentation skills, media expertise, brand building nuance and managerial skills to eventually start building a team around yourself.
Responsibilities
- Gradually and effectively building a brand around your content marketing efforts
- Regularly speak to new designers with an agenda and build a community initiative for Canvs around it.
- Creating new and fresh content by staying up to date with design and tech product standards.
- Interviewing designers, and industry experts and building content around it.
- Create multi-platform and versatile content.
- Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leaders and customers as well as from brand new audiences
- Knowledge of use of Canva, Figma and Photoshop is very helpful. If not, you’ll need to learn them.
- Handle social profiles as an individual and not just a brand.
- Create Content for specific networks to spread our brand, products, solutions and our content.
- Create a team of junior marketers to exponentially expand brand presence in the market.

This job entails becoming the sole custodian for everything related to canvs' communication and content marketing efforts. The role shall be both strategy and execution heavy hence the workload will be in line with it. We are looking for a hard working and smart individual who will build a content marketing front for Canvs while spending time around people who are constantly needing out on design and tech.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation
We are offering an annual salary of INR 8-11 LPA (CTC) for this role.
Further, depending on how the firm does in a year and how you perform you receive a compensation bonus at the end of the year.

- Remote work: We are situated out of Powai, Mumbai but work remotely. You can work from anywhere in India as long as you are able to work without disruptions and are available all times during work hours. You are free to work from anywhere. However, we hold in-person meetings frequently for which your presence shall be required.

This liberty of course comes with the responsibility of being judicious about your leaves lest it affects your work and the work of others in your team.
