Role Overview

As a Data Scientist, you will work to unlock insights from Halfgram’s data, identifying trends and patterns to improve user experience and engagement. Your role will involve analyzing large datasets and developing models to inform product and business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models to analyze user behavior
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate data-driven insights
• Design experiments and analyze results to support product optimization
• Clean, process, and visualize data for clear insights and reporting
• Present findings to stakeholders to guide strategic decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with Python, R, or other data analysis tools
• Proficiency in SQL and database management
• Strong understanding of machine learning principles and statistical analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Halfgram user (We strongly prefer candidates who are familiar with our community and understand our mission firsthand)
• Experience with social media or user behavior data
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
• Passion for uncovering insights in community-driven platforms
