Head of Strategy & Technology

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on leader to take charge of our strategy and technology initiatives. This role requires a strategic visionary who can build and lead a dynamic team while being actively involved in the development and implementation of our tech stack, with a focus on data engineering and automation. This leader will work closely with the parent company for strategic alignment but will have significant autonomy in driving the startup's operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategic plan that aligns with our mission to transform the aerospace aftermarkets space.
• Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of skilled professionals in data engineering, AI, and automation.
• Hands-On Tech Development: Contribute directly to building out the tech stack, focusing on automation, AI, and data solutions.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the implementation of internal processes and ensure operational efficiency through data-driven approaches.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with the parent company to ensure strategic alignment and leverage existing resources for maximum impact.

Qualifications

• Industry Experience: Background in broader industry experience, with a deep understanding of technology-driven business transformation.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in data engineering, automation, AI, and analytics. Experience with skills quoted below are a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Hands-on leadership style with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Autonomous Drive: Ability to work independently while aligning with the strategic guidance from the parent company.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working remotely with the flexibility to travel to parent co. office locations as needed.
