Founded in 2015, Netcapital is a financial technology company aimed at making private securities accessible for everyone. Our goal is two-fold: to help innovative private companies achieve their funding goals, and to make it possible for any investor to invest in these exciting projects. Your Role:
We are looking for a highly-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is willing to go the extra mile to provide customer support for our community of investors. We want each and every one of our investors to move closer to their financial goals by using our platform.
Your role as an Customer Service Representative will be to help Netcapital provide the best possible customer experience for our investors, and will include:
- Ensuring investors’ questions and concerns are responded to in a timely fashion over email, and that communication reflects the Netcapital brand and values.
- Tracking communication and issues in our system
- Processing investments in our proprietary investing platform
- Helping identify common customer problems, and suggesting solutions
- Identifying areas where we can provide additional customer support
- Being ready to take on new challenges and projects!

You are:
- Very friendly and easy to talk to!
- A reliable team player with excellent communication skills
- Someone with a strong client service orientation; ability to handle frequent investor contact with grace and professional judgment
- Very well-organized and able to manage and follow-up with a high volume of communication from customers
- Someone who can learn quickly in a fast-paced, startup environment, and wants to grow professionally within the company
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills: written and verbal (comfortable speaking over the phone with users)
- Excellent time-management skills
- Has a lot of initiative with a “Get Things Done” mentality
- 0-2 years of experience in customer service and/or operations
- Personally motivated and highly productive in a work from home environment
- Sociable and fun -- we want you to love working with our amazing team!
