Accountant

Accounts Receivable Management:

Receive, verify, and sort incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and credibility.
Maintain updated records of client accounts, identify inconsistencies, and issue invoices or receipts as needed.
Keep clients informed of outstanding dues and payment deadlines.

Accounts Payable Support:
Assist in managing and reconciling supplier payments. Ensure accuracy in recording and maintaining ledgers.

Reconciliation & Reporting:
Conduct monthly and quarterly ledger reconciliations.
Generate financial reports on the status of accounts, highlighting key issues or outstanding debts.

Database Management:
Maintain an up-to-date database of accounts, reflecting new clients, payments, and missed dues.

Audit & Compliance:
Assist the Senior Accountant with internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are compliant with regulations.

Payroll Management:
Calculate payroll taxes, and assist in processing monthly payments for staff.

Month-End and Year-End Closings:
Help ensure all financial processes are properly wrapped up for reporting at the end of each accounting period.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Proficiency in Tally and other accounting software
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Problem-solving ability and analytical thinking
• Experience in handling client accounts and payment follow-ups
• Familiarity with the PG accommodation or real estate industry is a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
