Senior Manager, Experiences Production - EMEA

Experience Supply Production team is a unique, multidisciplinary team responsible for partnering with our Host to conceptualise and develop high-quality, repeatable and commercially viable experiences that are in alignment with our brand values. In partnership with our cross-company peers, we invent novel ways to foster human connection and belonging in our shared physical world.

The Difference You Will Make:

As part of the Experiences Supply team, the Senior Manager, Experiences Production will lead a team of Producers on innovative projects, from early ideation through final delivery. This person will report to the Director, Production and be based in either Dublin, London or Paris.

A Typical Day:

• Lead the Production team across EMEA
• Oversee the EMEA production lifecycle end-to-end, from ideation with the Host to final launch of the experience in the platform, ensuring that each new offering is high-quality, unique, authentic and commercially viable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and lead overall staffing needs, prioritisation and production strategy.
• Ensure top-tier ongoing support and guidance to Hosts, empowering them to succeed and thrive on the platform while upholding Airbnb’s standards of excellence.
• Develop long-term retention strategies for Experiences in the region.
• Partner with our Sourcing and other regional Production teams to drive Production success globally.
• Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders in Product, Design, and others.

Across our functional model, key collaborators for the Senior Manager, Experiences Production will be Product Marketing, Quality, Finance, and Analytics.

Within the Chief Business Officer’s organization, the Supply Operations teams, Services, Stays and Business Operations teams are critical collaborators.

Beyond this, as with all other teams at Airbnb, we anticipate a high level of cross-functional collaboration with other G&A functions.

Your Expertise:

• 12+ years experience overseeing creative production for complex physical immersive entertainment, experiential, and/or hospitality projects, from concept through delivery
• Deep knowledge of industry (entertainment and hospitality) trends relative to production capabilities, how to build and execute complex projects on multiple platforms and with multiple stakeholders.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a commitment to delivering exceptional concepts.
• Obsessed with detail with a keen eye for design, a knack for problem-solving and a relentless pursuit of groundbreaking concepts.
• Consumer-centric mindset and evidence of delivering world class product/service for a renowned brand.
• Experience with management outside vendors to execute on technical, creative, and live events and presentations.
• Ability to create and drive schedules, budgets, scope documents, deliverables and staffing needs for project teams.
• Excellent project management, mentorship, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of inspiring diverse, cross functional project teams to achieve their best work
• Obsessed with detail with a keen eye for design, a knack for problem-solving and a relentless pursuit of groundbreaking concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships of trust and collaboration across internal and external teams, including a broad spectrum of creative, technical, and business disciplines
• Understanding of the digital development process, with prior experience collaborating with mobile app design, product, and engineering teams
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with an ability to convey complex concepts in compelling terms to audiences at all levels, and articulate creative solutions to complex challenges
• Ability to direct and ensure consistently high-quality technical deliverables of a producing team, including project budgets, resource plans, timelines, etc.
• Incredible organisation, prioritisation, and decision-making skills with an ability to set priorities, problem-solve, and work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
