Join Our Team as an Associate Technical Program Manager in Manufacturing!

Impact in This Role

At Fictiv, we are revolutionizing the sourcing of custom mechanical parts, providing high-quality manufacturing solutions to Fortune 500 companies that are shaping the future with groundbreaking technologies such as autonomous electric vehicles, surgical systems, and industrial robots. As we expand our operations in India, we are looking for an Associate Technical Program Manager to work on-site from our Bengaluru office who is passionate about driving manufacturing success—not computer programming.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate directly with our manufacturing partners in the United States, leveraging your engineering expertise and manufacturing process knowledge to manage high mix/low volume projects. Your focus will be on ensuring that all projects are executed within scope, meeting customer requirements, and adhering to budget constraints—all while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of manufacturing projects, ensuring compliance with defined scope, budget, and timeline standards.

  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address potential risks while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee on-time delivery according to builders’ design specifications.

  • Work Order Assignment: Manage the scheduling and distribution of manufacturing work orders to our network of manufacturing partners to ensure timely fulfillment of builder orders.

  • Production Issue Resolution: Serve as a technical resource for manufacturing partners, addressing inquiries related to production processes and specifications.

  • Change Order Management: Evaluate and implement post-sale change requests from stakeholders, effectively mitigating any associated risks.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancement within the Technical Project Management workflow and lead strategic improvement initiatives.

  • Communication Management: Foster effective communication across all involved parties to encourage collaboration, identify challenges, devise solutions, and implement process improvements.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experience in hardware or manufacturing, preferably as an OEM or contract manufacturer.

  • Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience working night shifts and in multicultural environments, with fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Familiarity with at least three of the following manufacturing processes:

  • 3DP Printing - MUST

  • CNC Machining - MUST

  • Rapid Tooling - Preferred

  • Injection Molding - Preferred

  • Urethane Casting - Preferred

  • Sheet Metal Fabrication - Preferred

  • Proven project management skills, including scope, timing, and quality management.

  • Understanding of quality management, testing, and logistics.

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and aligning project requirements while maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with low volume piece parts and prototype builds is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, results-oriented mindset, and a sense of urgency in managing delivery schedules.

  • Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a strong inclination for thorough documentation.

  • Experience making data-driven decisions and managing time efficiently as a self-starter, completing tasks without active supervision.

  • Adaptable and resilient, able to thrive in ambiguous environments while producing high-quality results.
