Since launching our flagship Generative AI product, we have blown past our revenue targets quarter over quarter, and are looking for an Account Manager to help us scale.
We are racing ahead with an exciting product development roadmap to continue to delight our customers and to ensure that our users can generate the very best possible tax research answers in the service of their clients in record time.
A Note on Location
We are excited to meet with qualified candidates and are grateful for everyone’s interest, however this is a hybrid position that requires applicants to be within driving distance of Toronto for 1-2 in person meetings a quarter. All candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
The Opportunity
As an Account Manager specializing in expansion sales, you’ll play a vital role in nurturing valuable client relationships while uncovering exciting growth opportunities! We’re looking for a dynamic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves to take the initiative.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative strategies that drive revenue growth. You’ll dive deep into your accounts, understanding their unique needs and identifying new avenues for upselling and cross-selling. Your ability to engage with clients and offer tailored solutions will be key to unlocking their full potential.
You'll have the chance to lead negotiations on expansion deals, craft compelling proposals, and present game-changing ideas to stakeholders. Your insights and strategic thinking will not only help our clients succeed but also contribute significantly to our overall growth.
What To Expect
- Oversee multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously from start to finish, demonstrating a proven history of achieving revenue targets.
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
- Develop and maintain detailed account plans to outline strategies for growth and track progress against goals.
- Create and deliver compelling proposals and presentations tailored to clients' specific needs.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts to understand their business needs and challenges.
- Monitor account performance metrics and sales forecasts, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Conduct regular market research to identify new trends, potential threats, and opportunities within the industry.
- Work closely with Customer Success, along with marketing and product teams, to ensure alignment and significantly enhance the overall customer experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights to clients and internal teams.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the company and build relationships with clients.
Your Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in account management or sales, with a focus on expansion in Mid-Market and/or Enterprise segments.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems.
