Software Engineering Internship

AlwaysRaas is a fast-growing fashion brand reimagining cultural heritage in modern fashion. With our recent entry into Macy’s, we’re scaling up to bring our unique designs and a seamless shopping experience to a larger audience. As part of this growth, we’re building a cutting-edge mobile app to deliver an enhanced, immersive experience for our customers.

We’re seeking a Software Engineering Intern who brings lots of enthusiasm to learn and is eager to work directly with our lead engineer to design and implement key features of this platform. This is a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment and to make a real impact. This is a remote, 3-month long internship with potential for growth within the company.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate closely with the team to develop app features with a focus on a sleek and engaging UI/UX that aligns with our brand.
• Work with our tech stack, including React Native, Node.js, and Firebase—building, testing, and refining app components for a seamless user experience.
• Contribute to problem-solving discussions and brainstorming sessions to address technical challenges, working 1-on-1 with our lead engineer.
• Gain exposure to the full development lifecycle, from initial planning to final deployment, including code reviews, testing, and optimization.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience or coursework in React Native, Node.js, Firebase, and a strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently, with strong problem-solving skills and lots of enthusiasm to learn.
• Interest in fashion tech and a proactive attitude toward tackling new challenges.
