We are in the early stages of development and are looking for a passionate Mobile App Developer to join our team and help bring our vision to life.
What we are looking for:
As a Mobile App Developer at amiqo, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into a functional and engaging user interface. You will work closely with our Head of Engineering, and the Product and Design team to build the core features of our mobile app, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing startup and make a significant impact on the product from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the frontend of the amiqo mobile app using React Native, ensuring high performance and responsiveness across different devices.
Collaborate with the Head of Design and UX Researcher to bring Figma designs to life, maintaining the integrity of the design system and ensuring consistency across the app.
Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow between the frontend and backend.
Optimize components for maximum performance and usability, focusing on creating a seamless user experience.
Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high code quality.
Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends, bringing innovative ideas to the table.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues as they arise, ensuring a bug-free user experience.
Qualification:
Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Mobile App Developer, with a strong focus on development using React Native.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in React Native and related frontend technologies.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend interfaces with backend services.
- Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
- Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and the ability to work closely with designers to implement high-fidelity designs. Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Firebase or other cloud-based backend services.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Previous experience working in a startup environment.
