About the job
The ideal candidate for the Sales Development Representative (SDR) position is an energetic self-starter with a strong understanding of the sales process. As part of a dynamic team that helps Racket’s clients enter a new growth phase, the SDR will be responsible for generating leads, setting demos, and making appointments for prospective clients.
This individual contributor should be a quick learner with excellent communication skills, capable of showcasing our product line confidently and compellingly. The candidate will identify influencers and key decision-makers within accounts, responding to inbound interests and engaging targeted outbound prospects to build rapport and establish long-term relationships.
This is WHAT you'll do
- Research and learn about a prospective client’s organization, culture, and industry
- Represent the company’s products and services, using comprehensive knowledge to explain how our solutions meet customer needs.
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in the next steps.
- Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook.
- Maintain up-to-date info on the opportunity funnel, and work with sales and management to focus on key opportunities for the business
This is HOW you'll do it
- Utilize cold calls, email, and social medial to generate new sales opportunities
- Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate uses of our tool set to solve those problems
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
- Report to sales manager with weekly results

- One or more years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding sales targets
- Experience as a sales development representative, with a track record of achieving sales quotas
- Proficiency with CRM software
