Position Overview:

The CTPO will lead Piñata’s product and technology functions, driving strategy, development, and execution in a fast-growing environment. You will be responsible for creating a product and technology roadmap that continues to align with Piñata’s mission to deliver value to renters, property management companies and channel partners. The ideal candidate will have direct experience, exposure, and passion for real estate technology, SaaS platforms, FinTech, and consumer rewards, bringing a unique perspective to the intersection of these spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the product and technology strategy to meet Piñata’s business goals, ensuring the platform is a key driver of renter and property management company satisfaction and growth.
• Product Development: Lead a product team that delivers user-centered solutions based on market needs, customer feedback, and data-driven insights. Champion the product development lifecycle, from concept to market, with a focus on creating seamless, value-added features that engage renters and landlords.
• Technology Leadership: Guide the engineering team to design and implement a scalable, secure, and high-performance technology stack. Innovate in system architecture and infrastructure to ensure we stay ahead in a competitive market.
• Market Expertise: Apply deep knowledge and passion for the real estate tech, SaaS, FinTech, or consumer rewards space, leveraging that expertise to influence product features and technology decisions that enhance our unique value proposition.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the Customer Success, Revenue, and Marketing teams to prioritize product features that drive customer acquisition, retention, and monetization opportunities.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure product success, using data to inform decisions and optimize both technology and product strategies for business growth.
• Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and lead the technology and product teams, building a strong, innovative culture that is focused on performance, accountability, and user-centric design.
• Security and Compliance: Oversee platform security and compliance to ensure our systems are trusted by users, with an emphasis on protecting user data and maintaining a secure transaction environment.

Key Qualifications:

• 10+ years in senior leadership roles overseeing both technology and product development, with at least 5 years working within real estate technology, SaaS, FinTech, or consumer rewards platforms.
• Proven success in scaling SaaS products and technology infrastructures, particularly in fast-growth environments.
• Strong technical background, including experience with system architecture, software development, and data-driven technology solutions.
• Deep knowledge of the real estate tech or financial technology landscape, with a passion for how technology can transform renter and landlord experiences.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and delivering value to customers.
• Track record of managing product roadmaps from concept through execution, with an emphasis on user-centered design and agile methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Knowledge of and passion for the real estate industry, renter experience, and rewards systems preferred.
