About you
We believe copywriting is the backbone of all marketing efforts. We’re seeking someone who has a true passion for copywriting and can apply their skills across various company assets such as landing pages, newsletters, sales materials, ads, and more. A strong grasp of copywriting formulas and messaging strategies, along with a drive to create a clear, consistent message across all channels, is essential. You will be the primary marketing person working at our 10 person SaaS company.
Salary: $65.000 + bonus
Location: Brickell, Miami. You must be able to commute into the office 4 times a week.
Main responsibilities
Evaluate the current state of our messaging strategy
Evaluate the current copy and plan out how to unify messaging across our existing landing pages, emails, newsletters and blogs.
Creating copy for outbound emails
You’ll create emails that speak to our audience in a way that gets them interested and inspires them to take action.
Writing and managing newsletters
You’ll be in charge of writing and curating content for newsletters that people actually want to read. No boring updates here - just useful info and a touch of personality in a clear and engaging manner.
Producing blog content
From industry tips and insights to company news, you’ll write blogs that are informative, engaging, and reflect our brand’s voice and vibe.
Creating campaigns that convert
Design and write effective email drip campaigns that nurture leads and guide them through the customer journey with well-timed, relevant content, keeping them interested and moving closer to a decision.
Creating copy for ads
You’ll create concise, persuasive ad copy that communicates our key messages and drives conversions.
Building high-performing landing pages
Collaborate with the design and sales teams to write optimised copy for landing pages, maximising user engagement and conversion rates.
Producing company materials
Write clear and on-brand copy for a variety of company materials, including presentations, reports, and marketing collateral.
Ideally, you have
2-3 years of experience with copywriting across multiple platforms (websites, emails, blogs, ads, etc.), both short- and long-form, with a natural talent for writing clear, engaging content that connects with people.
Experience in the B2B SaaS industry, and a strong understanding of writing for a B2B audience.
Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) for publishing and managing content.
A/B testing experience to optimise subject lines, email content, and landing page copy based on performance metrics.
You’re able to pick up and adjust to our brand’s voice and stay motivated and committed to learning and understanding the tone we express to our clients.
Strong attention to detail - you’ve got an eye for catching small mistakes, making adjustments and ensuring everything reads smoothly.
SEO knowledge - if you’ve got some experience with SEO and know how to write content that’s both user-friendly and search engine-friendly, that’s a plus!
