About the job

Responsibilities:

  1. New Client Acquisition:
  2. Identify and target potential retail clients interested in adopting robotic solutions for operational improvements.
  3. Conduct outreach activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking, to generate leads.
  4. Develop and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and - -- ROI of robotic solutions.
  5. Pilot Test Coordination and Support:
  6. Assist clients in planning and implementing pilot tests of robotic solutions within their stores.
  7. Monitor and report on the progress and performance of pilot tests, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues promptly.
  8. Provide technical and operational support during the pilot phase, acting as a liaison between the client and internal technical teams.
  9. Market Research and Analysis:
  10. Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the U.S. retail market regarding robotic solutions.
  11. Analyze competitors and provide insights to help refine sales strategies and product offerings.
  12. Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact the deployment of robotic solutions in retail environments.
  13. Client Relationship Management:
  14. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  15. Gather feedback from clients to continuously improve product offerings and service quality.
  16. Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements to secure long-term partnerships with retail clients.
  17. Reporting and Documentation:
  18. Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, client interactions, and pilot test results.
  19. Document best practices and lessons learned from pilot tests to enhance future deployments.
  20. Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities and market insights.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the retail or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. retail market and trends in automation and robotics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies.
