As the Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager for Portworx, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of leading the Cloud Native Business Unit’s technical value proposition, primary features, and evangelism of why data on Kubernetes is a game changer for modern infrastructure architectures. You will create compelling collateral, get your hands dirty developing hands-on-labs, and assist with content generation for top tier industry events such as KubeCon and Red Hat Summit.
This role will involve collaborating closely with product management, engineering, sales, and other cross-functional teams to translate technical features and capabilities into compelling value propositions, messaging, and content that resonate with prospects and customers. As our Technical Marketing presence in India, you will be responsible for coordinating with product management and engineering teams to evangelize all of the amazing features and benefits that Portworx products bring to customers in the cloud native space!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams in India to deeply understand product features, capabilities, and roadmaps, and translate them into compelling value propositions, messaging, and content.
- Develop and execute technical marketing strategies to drive awareness, demand generation, and market leadership for Portworx solutions.
- Create and maintain a wide range of technical marketing collateral, including whitepapers, solution briefs, presentations, videos, demos, and blog posts.
- Deep testing of our hands-on-labs that showcase the compelling benefits of Portworx solutions, and deliver hands-on experiences to prospects and customers.
- Drive the creation and delivery of technical enablement materials to support sales, partners, and customers, including training presentations, FAQs, competitive battle cards, and technical guides.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify key trends, insights, and opportunities to differentiate Portworx solutions in the market.
- Collaborate with growth marketing and product marketing teams to develop technical marketing content that drives engagement, leads, and pipeline.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, computer science, or a related field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in technical marketing, product marketing, or product management in cloud native, enterprise software, storage, or IT infrastructure industries.
Deep technical knowledge and understanding of Kubernetes and modern application and infrastructure architectures; Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is a plus.
Excellent bash and/or Python scripting skills and the ability to “bulletproof” lab experiences for prospects and customers.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful technical marketing strategies and campaigns that drive awareness, demand generation, and market leadership.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling messaging and content; bring your best storytelling!
Strong analytical skills and experience conducting market and competitive analysis to identify key trends, insights, and opportunities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
Experience presenting to and influencing senior executives, customers, partners, analysts, and technical audiences.
Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for technology, innovation, and driving business results.
