About the job
The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Associate based in London within Arabesque AI and Asset Management looking to play a key role in scaling its SAAS enterprise solution Portfolio Dragon (www.portfoliodragon.com) and also its existing funds.
Our web-based API first platform allows investment managers to augment their single-stock equity portfolios by incorporating aspects of our proprietary AI engine. This “workbench” facilitates the creation and testing of portfolio overlays aimed at, but not limited to, performance improvement using AI forecasts, sustainability integration (ESG, climate, impact), or various customizations along financial and non-financial objectives. Results are presented alongside a comprehensive set of analytics covering performance and sustainability.
In this position, you will be responsible for upselling and maintaining existing clients and new client opportunities in the UK / EMEA & APAC consisting of Asset Managers, Wealth Managers and Asset Owners (Insurance Companies, Pension Funds etc). You will also be empowered to take responsibility early on, with the career progression to take ownership of major client accounts.

Expectations
Sell subscriptions licenses for our technology platform
Manage the sales process from beginning to end - this will include client presentations and demonstrations and able to answer technical questions on portfolio management and how the technology platform will assist the client
Regular travel (when permitted) to meet prospective clients
Achieve and exceed monthly sales revenue targets
Maintain and develop marketing materials, supporting the wider team in client preparation including with the direction of sales strategy and marketing effort
Gather market intelligence and research prospective clients.
Contribute to content creation, new product development and thought leadership.
Prepare and take ownership of all RFPs and DDQs.
Support with the direction of Arabesque Fund distribution sales strategy and marketing effort.
Maintain client records on our internal CRM (Pipedrive)
About You
Proven track record in Enterprise Sales / Business Development /Fund Sales with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
Track record of selling financial software or financial data or funds into Asset Managers or Wealth Managers
Experience with equity portfolio management systems (e.g. risk analytics, portfolio optimisation, performance attribution)
Experience interacting with front-office asset management clients a plus
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent face to face presentation skills and experience
Experience of presenting to 'C’ suite decision
Understanding of APIs and web services highly desirable
