Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to help grow and shape the voice of Superplastic across multiple platforms. As a remote-based role, you’ll work closely with the VP of Marketing to craft and execute our social media strategy. This role demands creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of digital culture to engage our audience, build brand awareness, and drive customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute creative, data-driven social media strategies that align with Superplastic’s brand voice, goals, and audience. Manage day-to-day posting across platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging social channels.
Content Creation: Collaborate with the design and content teams to produce engaging, shareable content including graphics, videos, memes, and more that resonate with our community and drive engagement.
Community Engagement: Actively engage with Superplastic’s followers, responding to comments and messages, building relationships with influencers, and growing our online community.
Analytics & Optimization: Monitor, track, and report on the performance of social media campaigns, using insights to optimize future efforts. Use analytics tools to measure KPIs and ROI on social platforms.
Trend Spotting: Stay on top of social media trends, digital culture, and platform updates, ensuring Superplastic stays at the forefront of innovation and remains relevant to our audience.
Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams (content, creative, product) to ensure social media initiatives are aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably for consumer brands or in the entertainment, tech, or digital collectibles space.
Creativity: Strong creative instinct with an eye for design and the ability to produce fun, on-brand content that connects with a digital-native audience.
Analytics: Proficient in using social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.) to track performance and optimize strategies.
SEO & Growth: Understanding of SEO principles and strategies for organic growth across social media platforms.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling and audience engagement.
Passion for Digital Culture: A deep understanding of digital trends, internet culture, and how to connect with a tech-savvy audience.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a startup environment.
- Familiarity with Web3, NFTs, or digital collectibles.
