Social Media Marketing Intern

Are you passionate about social media, creative content, and making a difference in public health? We’re seeking one or two Gen-Z social media marketing interns to help grow our brand across TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

We are a fast-growing health tech startup on a mission to save lives with innovative harm reduction solutions. You will work closely with our founder and CEO to create engaging content that increases awareness, drives engagement, and boosts email newsletter sign-ups.

What You’ll Do

1. Develop and implement creative social media strategies focused on TikTok and Instagram, with occasional posts for LinkedIn.
2. Create and post 1-3 TikTok videos per day, 1-3 Instagram posts per week, and 1-3 LinkedIn posts every two weeks.
3. Collaborate with the CEO to brainstorm ideas, develop a cohesive brand tone, and receive final approval on content.
4. Utilize tools like Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, and social media management platforms like HubSpot, Beehive, and ClickUp.

Who You Are

• A creative college student or recent graduate with a passion for social media marketing.
• Experienced with TikTok and Instagram, with a portfolio showcasing your past work or accounts you've managed.
• Proficient in Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, and familiar with HubSpot, Beehive, and ClickUp (or willing to learn).
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with guidance.
• Excited about the opportunity to grow with a company focused on public health and harm reduction.

Details

• Time Commitment: Less than 15 hours per week
• Location: Remote (ideally Los Angeles based)
• Duration: October to February 1st, with the possibility of extension
• Compensation: Unpaid, with potential for a formal role after our funding round in Q1 of 2025.
