As a Director, Strategy & Operations, you will report to the VP, Strategy and Partnerships for Loblaw Digital & Advance. You will work closely with cross-functional leaders and their teams at Loblaw Digital to develop strategic plans that identify opportunities, risks and metrics to measure outcomes.
You will also execute a variety of cross-functional projects for the Loblaw Digital senior leadership team.
What You’ll Do
- Leading or supporting cross-functional strategic projects by forming hypotheses, conducting research, facilitating discussion and developing data analyses that drive to insights and actionable solutions
- Preparing executive presentation materials for internal & external meetings, including presentations to senior executives, townhall key notes, etc.
- Providing internal and external insights to support business decisions (e.g., macro trends, competitive impacts, etc.)
- Developing and implementing process improvements and/or organizational changes
- Serve as a liaison between senior leaders and between Loblaw Digital and Loblaw enterprise teams
- Facilitate the development of the annual strategic plan by working with business leadership teams and Loblaw enterprise functions
- Coach or develop other team members
Does this sound like you?
- More than 7 years of work experience in a relevant field with demonstrated cross-functional project leadership experience. This is a great opportunity for those with experience in consulting, private equity, corporate strategy, chief of staff or similar roles at technology companies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated analytical capabilities. A self-starter than can deep dive into data to identify and quantify risks and opportunities
- Thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
- Experience in forming and managing cross-functional teams
- Experience with building presentations and compiling briefing materials
- Experience working with people at all levels, including executive leadership
- Passion for digital consumer technologies that are influencing retail and e-commerce, enterprise technology platforms, and emerging technologies
