Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and talented Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a significant impact as a very early team member. You'll be working closely with our team to develop and scale our platform, ensuring the highest level of performance, user experience, and reliability.

*What You’ll Work On:
*

• Ship full-stack AI projects end to end.
• Collaborate to design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for our platform.
• Use the latest technologies, including LLMs, to prototype and build member experiences.
• Develop and maintain the Shelpful platform using technologies like Svelte, Python, Postgres, and mobile technologies.
• Building new Shelpful mobile apps.

*Requirements:

• Proficiency in full-stack development, with a strong understanding of web frameworks, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure.
• A track record of building full-stack applications, particularly those involving LLMs in production.
• Thrive in a flat hierarchy.
• Enjoy working remotely.
• Great communication and documentation so we can move quickly and independently.
• A passion for user experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable software.

*Nice to Have:
*

• Experience with mobile app development (native iOS/Android, React Native, Expo, Flutter, etc..)
• Building modern web applications using providers such as AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, Netlify, and Vercel.
• Proficiency in web development languages, such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with frameworks like React, Next.JS, Svelte
• Experience with back-end programming languages, such as Python, Rust, and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of database technologies, such as SQL or NoSQL
• Experience with 3rd party APIs (Stripe, Twilio, GPT, etc..)
