About The Job Role:
You will work with our HR team, where you will gain hands-on experience and receive guidance and feedback. A major responsibility will include handling team bonding activities, which are essential for maintaining a positive and cohesive work environment. You will also learn to work with pre-built Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and create new SOPs to address new challenges that arise. While we will provide support as needed, we expect you to take full ownership and grow through this experience.
You can anticipate a fun environment where you will have the freedom to make decisions and learn by making mistakes. This role is well-suited for those who are curious and love to experiment with the power of their minds. As you grow, we will allow you to take on more responsibilities, leading to an increase in your perks.
What you'll be doing:
- Finding and onboarding new hires, including doing shortlisting, interviews, social media outreach and making sure the process is running smoothly.
- Handling employee relations, benefits, and making sure we follow all the rules
- Creating and implementing HR strategies that help our company reach its goals
- Working with managers to solve employee problems and answering questions about HR policies
- Keeping track of employee records and documents
- Reporting on HR metrics like employee satisfaction and turnover
- Hosting employee engagement activities
- Creating content for TIF Careers on social spaces
Skills and Traits:
- Must be a people person - Engaging with the team will be a large part of the job
- Communication good enough to talk to a lot of people on a day-to-day basis
- Understanding of psychology - it’s something that differentiate a great HR from good one.
Must Have:
- A bachelor's degree in B. Tech, HR, Psychology or a related field
- Some hands-on experience, deep understanding, and a strong will to grow in this field. n years of experience is not required
- People skill
- Good communication - verbal and written
- Experience with HR software and systems - Zoho Recruit mainly
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Love for Pizza and Chai (Coffee will do too!)
