Position Summary:As the Digital Media Manager at RealDefense, you will be a key contributor to their marketing team, driving the execution of their paid digital media strategy across multiple platforms. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will play a critical role in identifying new media opportunities, optimizing campaigns, and ensuring the successful execution of their media buying strategies. Your work will directly impact the performance and growth of their privacy, security, and optimization products.
Given the flexibility of the role, they are open to adjusting the title and scope based on your experience. Whether you’re at a manager or senior manager level, we want to leverage your expertise to propel their digital marketing efforts forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and optimize multi-platform digital media campaigns, including paid social, DSPs, email, search, display, and affiliate networks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external media partners to fulfill campaign needs, ensuring high-quality execution from strategy to measurement.
- Identify and research new media channels, negotiate media buys, and manage publisher relationships, including setup, tracking, and performance evaluation.
- Analyze campaign performance data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for creative optimization, audience targeting, and overall media strategy.
- Lead brainstorming sessions to develop innovative marketing ideas and strategies that align with RealDefense’s business goals.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all media documentation and reports for cross-functional distribution.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging media landscapes, and competitive analysis to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.4+ years of media buying experience in the downloadable software space (e.g., PC apps, VPNs, Anti-Virus) preferred, with flexibility for those with 1.5+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with creating and managing successful digital media campaigns across multiple platforms (PPC, Paid Social, DSPs, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to campaign optimization and performance tracking.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Creative copywriting and visual design experience are advantageous.
