This Staff Front-end Engineer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the future of payments and expense management applications. This is a very unique role which combines the small team feeling of a startup launching a brand new product, with the perks, opportunity size and impact of an established company. Our team is building the next big thing, from scratch, but all within the hyper-growth context of Navan. You have a chance to heavily impact the roadmap of a nascent product and organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Build customer facing UI in a dynamic startup environment and see your work impact thousands of customers
- Create modular and reusable code
- Improve user experience with high-performance and intuitive UI
- Collaborate with globally distributed product teams, designers and other engineer
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of UI development experience
- Expert knowledge & proven experience with Angular
- Expert knowledge & proven experience with Typescript, HTML5, CSS3 and and JavaScript standards
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces
- Understanding in responsive and adaptive web design principles
- Dedication to high-quality modular and reusable code
- Good understanding in software design patterns
- Ability to write unit, integration and e2e tests
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Experience in mentoring other engineers
- Delivered projects from start to finish
- Knowledge of web performance and best practices
- Experience with PrimeNg, Storybook, New Relic, Sentry
- Excellent communication skills, should be able to work directly with senior stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
