We have an appetite to diversify and improve and are always looking for great new talent to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to our trading team. We are uniquely placed in the market with a combination of access to great liquidity through our market-making desks and a progressive risk appetite to leverage upon that.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Credit Trader to drive the development and build our Fixed Income desk in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for trading corporate bonds, focusing on both investment-grade and high-yield credit markets.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Trading Execution & Strategy:
- Trade a broad range of corporate bonds, including both investment-grade and high-yield, across Asian and/or US markets (Asia hours).
- Develop and execute trading strategies to capitalize on market inefficiencies, liquidity imbalances, and risk management opportunities.
- Work closely with research, analytics, and technology teams to integrate data-driven insights into trading strategies and enhance market-making capabilities.
Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of credit markets, macroeconomic trends, and sector-specific developments to identify and act on trading opportunities.
- Monitor and respond to market movements, credit spreads, and yield curves, and adjust trading positions accordingly.
- Keep up to date with credit events, corporate earnings, rating agency actions, and market liquidity to optimize risk/reward opportunities.
- Communicate regularly with counterparties, brokers, and liquidity providers to enhance market access and execution efficiency.
Risk Management:
- Actively manage risk exposure by monitoring positions and adjusting trading strategies to minimize potential losses and maximize profit potential.
- Work closely with the risk management team to ensure compliance with risk limits, regulatory requirements, and internal trading policies.
- Develop a deep understanding of portfolio risk and implement hedging strategies as necessary to maintain balanced exposures.
WHO YOU ARE
The ideal candidate will have
- Strong experience trading corporate bonds (investment-grade and high-yield) with a deep understanding of Asian and/or US (Asia hours) credit markets.
