Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be integral to designing and building efficient backend systems for our trading platforms. Your focus will be on creating scalable, high-performance solutions that can handle significant data loads with minimal latency. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure system security and compliance while also mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Architecture: Design and optimize backend systems and APIs for trading platforms.
• Database Management: Create and maintain database schemas; optimize queries for performance.
• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and conduct performance testing.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure adherence to security standards and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams; mentor junior developers.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years in backend development, preferably in fintech or algorithmic trading.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Go, Java, Python, or Node.js; strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge; experience with RESTful or gRPC APIs; familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and system analysis abilities.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of financial instruments and trading systems.
• Experience with real-time data processing and low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
