We are Sam, and we believe that no woman should go through life's hardest, most complicated events alone. Over 72% of women in the United States feel they do not have an adequate support system. So we decided to build one. We are a women-led start-up, launching in April 2025. Sam is a marketplace that connects clients with professionals, experts, and navigators based on life events. About the Work

• We already have a working design in place, but you'll take charge of all things technical and UX moving forward. You will lead the development, building, and integration of features into the platform, ensuring a seamless experience for our users. You’ll be hands-on, helping shape the product at every level, from infrastructure to user interface.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and launch the Sam platform from the ground up, covering backend and frontend development.
• Own the UX design process, working closely with the founder to bring the vision to life.
• Integrate third-party tools, payment processors, and community features.
• Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and optimized for a great user experience.
• Iterate and improve the platform based on feedback and emerging needs.

About You

• You understand there’s no real support system for women in the U.S. and want to help build one.
• A strong sense of ownership with 5+ years of experience in building production software.
• Proficient in multiple coding languages (JavaScript, Python, Ruby) and integration tools.
• You have an artistic eye and take pride in crafting both functional and beautiful solutions.
• Thrive in a startup environment and are excited about finding creative solutions to complex problems. You enjoy taking initiative, experimenting with new ideas, and adapting as the company grows.
