Data Intern

Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an astute Intern to join our Analytics team. You will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data pipelines and architecture. An ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, is confident supporting the data needs of multiple teams and have a sense of ownership.

Location: Remote, Indian Standard Time
Experience Level: Fresher

• Drive optimization, testing, and tooling to improve data quality
• Collaborate with other software engineers, machine learning experts, and stakeholders, taking learning and leadership opportunities that will arise every single day
• Knowledge regarding IP and EULA violations
• Knowledge of Security and privacy related issues while using the open-source algorithm
• Knowledge of Design and Coding best practices such as Secure Coding
• Maintain the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of all information or assets shared and assessed by you.
• Adhere to Wysa's security, privacy and compliance policies and procedures.
• Contribute to building continual improvement practices
• Qualifications & Skills
• Hands on experience in the Data Engineer or similar role
• Demonstrated experience with diverse set of databases like MongoDB, Postgres etc
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages (Python, NodeJS preferred)
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
• Working knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL is a plus
• Working knowledge of Github
• Agile methodology and iterative practices
• Good to have: Experience building end-to-end production-grade data solutions that run on AWS If you are all this with a heart of empathy, it’s always a plus
