What You'll Do:

• Lead Engineering: As the Senior Director of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical vision and strategy of Focus AI. You’ll lead the engineering team and shape the evolution of our headcount intelligence platform, pushing the boundaries of what AI-driven workforce analytics can achieve.
• Develop and Execute Technical Strategies: You’ll define the long-term architectural roadmap, design scalable systems, and implement cutting-edge solutions that ensure Focus AI remains a leader in AI-driven workforce analytics. Your collaboration with product, business development, and leadership teams will be crucial in aligning technical execution with business goals.
• Drive Innovation and Technical Excellence: Lead the development of new platform features, optimize existing infrastructures, and champion engineering innovation across the organization. As a senior leader, you will set and maintain high standards of technical excellence and foster a culture of continuous learning and agile adaptability.
• Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other senior leadership to ensure the seamless integration of technical strategies with business objectives. You will be instrumental in building bridges between engineering, product development, and go-to-market teams.
• Mentor and Develop the Engineering Team: As Focus AI grows, you’ll be responsible for building and leading a high-performing engineering organization. You’ll mentor and coach team members, ensuring they thrive and grow in their careers while contributing to our mission.

You Bring:

• Extensive Technical Expertise: 10+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development with deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, Python, relational and NoSQL databases, AWS, and DevOps practices like CI/CD and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Entrepreneurial Spirit & Startup Agility: You thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt quickly to evolving product needs and market fit. You're adept at integrating new technologies and navigating shifting priorities.
