Seeking experienced senior iOS developer with skills and understanding of text, photography, physics / object interaction, and custom gestures tied to interface design / UX.
Particular to iOS, I'm looking for experience with universal apps, localization, physics engines (Box2D, SpriteKit, etc.), Core Data, database models, custom gestures, galleries, file sharing, and granular work photos, typographic objects and emoji at core levels.
Applicant can be based in NYC or remote, located around the world, but preferably in time zones that allow for standup meetings in EST timezone.
REQUIRED:
- Senior iOS dev skills with ability to manage junior dev, review code, lead dev effort
- Adaptive, Universal App Design
- Swift, Agile workflow, Continuous integration, Continuous Delivery, Single Responsibility, Interface Segregation, Abstraction, Feature Toggling, Unit Tests, Linting
- Data Models, Core Data, Magical Record, Realm, etc.
- Physics Engines...SpriteKit, Box 2D, Unity, etc, including coordinate systems, custom interface, gestural controls, collisions / layering / interaction / positioning.
- Seamless integration of ViewControllers, nodes, etc. across iOS technologies, in animated, gestural interfaces that adapt according to view and user intention.
- Good communication and ability to meet deadlines
- Remote work technologies like Slack, Github, Trello
- Fluent English (or high level)
HELPFUL:
- Backup via iCloud (also Cloudkit)
- Experience or interest in art, poetry, writing, and design
- Ability and interest to approach this app as an artwork, requiring a seamless merger of concept, design and code
- NFT, blockchain and crypto experience
Payment will likely be hourly rate, related to your experience, to be discussed.
