Testing Expertise:
Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Experience using automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
Ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Defect Management:
Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira) for effective defect tracking and management.
Ability to identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams
for resolution.
Analytical Skills:
Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities to effectively identify and troubleshoot issues.
Communication and Collaboration:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both within the QA team and with other cross-
functional teams.
Ability to convey testing progress, outcomes, and issues clearly to team members and stakeholders.
Java Programming:
Knowledge and experience in Java for writing automation scripts.

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Execution:

Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
Execute test cases, both manually and through automation, to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using the designated bug tracking system.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution and validation of reported defects.
Regression Testing:
Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and validate new features without
adverse impacts on existing functionality.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of quality goals and project objectives.
Provide clear and concise status reports on testing progress, issues, and overall quality to stakeholders.
Required Skills:

Knowledge & project exposure on “POSTMAN API, Automation Testing, Cucumber framework, rest
assured, Manual testing
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) is a
plus
