Contract role:
Business Analyst with Insurance domain
London, UK 3days/week onsite
**Must be comfortable to work outside IR35
Rate: upto GBP 350/day all inclusive-without benefits
Duration: 1 year
Key Accountabilities:
To support other team members as required to iterate an existing product, or deliver a new MVP.
To document and validate non-functional requirements.
To document and evaluate as-is processes.
To design new business processes.
To write user stories and acceptance criteria.
To support the Product Manager with defining and managing the backlog.
To create and contribute to data modelling and data analysis.
To assist with user acceptance testing.
To support launches of MVPs and product increments, including assisting with user training, supporting end users and supporting go-live activities.
To assist with vendor selection and procurement.
To gather, analyze and summarize data.
To interpret and communicate analysis outputs to a range of stakeholders.
To review and contribute to technical design.
To assess and support diagnosis of escalated support tickets.
To document and design user journeys and user-system interactions.
Skills & Abilities
Insurance/Reinsurance domain knowledge
Can comfortably communicate with both technical and non-technical people at all levels.
Able to use Jira, Confluence and common process mapping tools.
Excellent problem solving ability.
Good attention to detail.
Professional Experience:
Solid experience working as a Business Analyst.
Experience of insurance systems and processes is advantageous.
Experience working in matrix organizations and global teams.
Experience in Agile methodologies is essential, specifically the Scaled Agile Framework is desirable.
Experience writing user stories and non-functional requirements.
Experience of understanding and mapping complex processes.
