About the job
TL:DR: Atrium is looking for a sales-math-comfortable, LLM-wizard to help us with a contract role authoring sales metrics for our customers! Role is in-office in downtown San Francisco.
Details: Atrium makes sales performance management software (demo video) that uses AI to automate large chunks of the sales performance management process.
We recently shipped a magical new feature that we call “Custom Metrics”, which allows our customers to performance manage whatever metric they might want to concoct out of their Salesforce CRM data.
The only catch is that right now the configuration of these custom metrics is done through some fussy admin tooling that is not customer facing.
Specifically, these metrics are created via some involved checklists, API calls straight out of the browser, and using LLMs (like Claude Sonnet and ChatGPT4o) to configure the config files.
It’s definitely not customer facing yet, but the outputs are amazing when all the fussy configuration is done.
We’re looking for someone to help out with producing a bunch of these custom metrics for our customers! Because they really love them and keep asking for them.
Ideal candidate has strong sales-familiarity (you know what pipegen, opps, win rates, stages, leads, pipeline, and more all mean), CRM familiarity (you know Salesforce’s data model and the difference between an object, a record, and a field), LLM familiarity (you enjoy using ChatGPT4 and Claude), who loves a good process and has super high attention to detail.
This is a contract role working directly with our CEO and head of product, so it’s a great opportunity to get some fantastic senior entrepreneur facetime.
Atrium is backed by Bonfire Ventures, Craft Ventures, CRV, Bullpen Capital, and more.
The company was founded by two serial entrepreneurs, Pete Kazanjy, author of Founding Sales, the startup sales manual, and Jason Heidema, founder of TalentBin, acquired by Monster Worldwide in 2014.
Need to have
Sales Acumen: You must have close comfort with sales terminology.
CRM Acumen: You must understand the Salesforce CRM data model.
ChatGPT & Claude Ninja: You must have substantial experience working with LLMs and getting them to do your bidding.
In Office in San Francisco: Local to SF Bay Area and can work in our downtown San Francisco Office
Nice to have
SQL Acumen: It would be great if you had some experience with raw SQL.
Who might this look like?
I could see a few profiles that might make sense here.
Are you an SDR or AE who are looking to move into rev ops? This would be great proving ground for you to get your sales analytics game tight.
Are you an sales ops manager or analyst looking for their next thing? This could be a fantastic temporary role for you while you search for that new thing.
Are you either of the above that thinks they might want to start a software company and wants to see what it’s like in a 30 person Series A org? You would have amazing access to the founders of Atrium in this contract position.
