Position Summary:
As the Business Development Manager at Perksome, you will play a critical role in identifying, pursuing, and securing partnerships and clients that align with our mission. You will be responsible for building and managing relationships with key stakeholders such as software vendors, online business communities, coworking spaces, professional associations, and startup accelerators. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing startup where your efforts will directly impact the company’s success.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SaaS sales, specifically in tech-driven industries, with proficiency in using cold email tools, CRM systems, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other lead generation tools. Also possess the ability to close deals and build lasting partnerships across global markets. Experience in selling to foreign businesses and communities is a major plus, as Perksome targets a wide range of international audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Growth: Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients and partnerships within targeted industries (e.g., coworking spaces, professional associations, startup accelerators, online business networks, and software vendors).
- Lead Generation & Outbound Campaigns: Run targeted outbound sales campaigns using cold email tools, CRM systems, and lead generation platforms (e.g., Sales Navigator) to identify and engage potential clients and partners.
- Business Strategy Development: Create and execute business development strategies and sales plans to expand Perksome’s customer base and increase market penetration.
- Partnership Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at potential partner organizations to drive long-term growth and collaboration.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, tracking all sales activities, leads, and opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Closing Deals: Navigate complex sales cycles to secure partnerships and clients, focusing on building value and demonstrating the unique benefits of Perksome.
- Market Research & Trends: Stay informed about market trends and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align business development efforts with company objectives. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on key sales metrics and business opportunities.
- International Sales Experience: Leverage experience in working with foreign clients to expand Perksome’s presence in international markets.
