Our Core Product

Our flagship product is a self-service insurance underwriting suite that helps home buyers and sellers avoid breaches of contract, while giving us the opportunity to provide mortgage lenders with independent underwriting assessments before an offer is made.

Job brief

We are seeking a creative, experienced, and driven Head of Software to join our current team. As a Head of Software, your primary responsibilities will be to design, implement, and improve cross platform scalable software that allows us to entrepise b2b clients with minimal human interaction. Your proficiency should be a hybrid of cross platform development, secure cloud architecture, application troubleshooting, and mahcine learning.

You must collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, prototype, and deploy software that revolutionizes legacy industries and improve lives. If you're excited about pushing boundaries of software development, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

• Technical Strategy: Setting and driving the technical vision and strategy for the company, aligning it with business objectives and market trends.

• Fullstack Development: Developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.

• Quality Assurance: Ensuring adherence to best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments such as product management, design, and operations to align technical initiatives and ensure seamless integration.

• Technology Evaluation: Evaluating and implementing new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance engineering capabilities and efficiency.

• Budget and Resource Management: Managing budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to optimize productivity and deliver projects within allocated resources.

• Team Management: Managing and mentoring engineering teams, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. At least 3 years of proven work experience as a software developer.
3. Attend weekly meeting to ensure we stay on track. If you can not commit to a weekend meeting, we can not work together.
4. Staying current with IoT technologies.
5. Innovative problem-solving.
6. Collaborative mindset.
7. Experience/ Strong interest in AI infrastcuture like NVIDIA and Google.
8. Understanding of cloud computing platform's like GCP.

1. Developing front end website architecture.
2. Designing user interactions on web pages.
3. Developing back-end website applications.
4. Creating servers and databases for functionality.
5. Experience developing and deploying crossplatform web, desktop, and mobile applications
6. Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
7. Working alongside graphic designers and UI teams for web design features.
8. Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
9. Designing and developing APIs.
10. Excellent verbal communication skills.
11. Strong organizational and project management skills.
