About the job

Responsibilities

  • Product Development and Management: Lead the ideation, development, and launch of new features and enhancements within the insurance technology platform. This includes managing the entire product lifecycle from concept to delivery.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure seamless integration and delivery of product features.
  • Market Research and Strategy: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform product strategy. Gather feedback from stakeholders to prioritize feature development and ensure the product meets market needs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a subject matter expert on insurance technology, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders. Engage with banking partners to establish and maintain integrations.
  • Performance Tracking: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of product initiatives. Use insights and feedback to iterate on product features.
  • Innovation and Competitive Edge: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is typically required. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the insurance technology sector. Experience with banking systems, payment gateways, and financial APIs is beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of client and server functioning, UI/UX design, and Agile methodologies.
  • Analytical and Problem-solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and provide data-driven solutions. Strong analytical skills are essential.
  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams is desirable.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: A passion for innovation and driving business growth. Experience working in a startup environment is highly desirable
