What is Obinex?
Obinex is a Pre-Seed stage Startup on a mission to develop a simple ecosystem to facilitate the adoption of the centralized economy in the decentralized space and give way to a more secure centralization. As we are in a very early stage, the equity offering is the only part of the conversation until we are funded. This will be subject to a probationary and vesting period.

What will you do?
As a Blockchain Recruiter in a FinTech Pre-Seed startup, you'll be responsible for sourcing and recruiting top blockchain talent to build the company's foundational team. You'll collaborate closely with founders to understand their technical needs, manage the entire recruitment process, and help shape the startup's culture by bringing in candidates aligned with its vision. Additionally, you'll stay updated on blockchain trends to attract the best talent in a highly competitive market.

  • Talent Sourcing: Identifying and attracting skilled candidates with expertise in blockchain technology and FinTech.
  • Job Posting: Creating and managing job listings on various platforms, highlighting specific blockchain and FinTech requirements.
  • Screening Candidates: Assessing resumes and portfolios to shortlist candidates with relevant blockchain, crypto, and financial technology experience.
  • Interviewing: Conducting technical and behavioral interviews to evaluate candidates' skills and cultural fit.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborating with FinTech companies to understand their blockchain needs and tailor recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Offer Negotiation: Facilitating salary discussions and offer letters, ensuring alignment with market standards and client expectations.
  • Onboarding Support: Assisting in the smooth onboarding of candidates, ensuring they integrate well into the company.
  • Market Research: Staying updated on blockchain trends and salary benchmarks to provide insights to clients and candidates.

What will you bring?

  • Blockchain Knowledge: Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, and decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts.
  • FinTech Expertise: Familiarity with financial technology, including payment systems, digital banking, and regulatory compliance in the finance sector.
  • Recruitment Experience: Proven track record in technical recruitment, ideally with a focus on blockchain and FinTech roles.
  • Networking Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with top talent and industry professionals in the blockchain and FinTech sectors.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Solidity, Python) and blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger) to assess candidate skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for interacting with candidates and clients, explaining technical roles clearly.
  • Market Awareness: Knowledge of current trends, salary benchmarks, and demand in the blockchain and FinTech job market.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate job offers, balancing candidate expectations and client budgets.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to the fast-evolving blockchain and FinTech landscape, including new technologies and regulatory changes.

  • Equity: Until we are funded, we are offering ESOPs only as compensation. This will be subject to a trial and vesting period.
  • Salary: We are in the early stages of our journey, therefore remuneration in the form of Salary will be considered only once we are funded.
