Growth and Outreach Coordinator (Contractor)

This is a contractor position for approximately 4-6 months, with the possibility of extension. It is a part-time position, expected 10-15 hours per week, starting at the beginning of October. This is a hybrid position.
The remuneration for this position is from $50 per hour, dependent on experience.

We’re looking for a Growth and Outreach Coordinator who has worked in a digital services environment and is accustomed to working on high-value projects. You understand the economics of a product lifecycle and how startups function, and you’re interested in working in a digital consultancy environment with multidisciplinary teams of developers, designers, project managers, and strategists on complex projects. The main focus of this role is developing new relationships, leads, and helping secure new business.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Immerse yourself into Invoke’s business and understand our place in the product development industry
• Find and provide digital software solutions that Invoke should be utilizing for marketing and growth efforts
• Expand Invoke’s network in Canada and the US and add new business opportunities to our growth pipeline
• Engage new business opportunities from research, discovery and qualification, and assist where appropriate in negotiation and closing
• Collaborate with the Invoke team to estimate and author new business proposals for appropriate, viable opportunities
• Build and finesse our pitch decks and help us put our best foot forward
• Craft Invoke artifacts and communicate to potential clients what we can do for them
• Hunt for new partners, handle external communications, and set up appropriate meetings for our team of directors

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor degree preferred (Bachelor of Arts, Marketing or Business Administration)
• 2+ years of experience as a business development or sales professional from a digital product agency or SaaS company
• Engaged in the tech community and digital tools; researching and experimenting with all-things digital: Google Apps, social networks, CRM systems, proposal software, and reporting tools
• Entrepreneurial; having worked as part of a small team to achieve quantifiable revenue targets and KPIs
• A self-starter that takes initiative in everything you do and isn’t afraid to get crafty with new tools to assist you
• Someone with a strong understanding of the digital landscape with a focus on web applications and products
• Someone with excellent, strategic communication skills, both written and verbal
