What we’re looking for
Our team is looking to bring on a Business Development Representative to own outbound sales and develop new and exciting opportunities for our team. You’ll play a pivotal role in building out target accounts and contact lists, finding unique and creative ways to engage with prospects and providing a great first impression of Lumen5’s brand. You’ll work closely with our Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to better understand key verticals and our ideal customer profile in order to develop strategies to best create net new business.
We’re looking for someone who takes a human-centric approach to sales, and focuses on uncovering challenges, pains, and areas of opportunities in order to present the best possible solutions to our customers. You have a hunter mentality but are a people person at heart; you’re excited to talk to prospects about their goals and focus your attention on providing the best possible experience in order to keep customers engaged and excited to work with Lumen5.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for developing net-new opportunities and generating sales pipeline
- Collaborate with GTM teams to determine target accounts and key verticals
- Conceptualize, develop, and execute outbound sales strategies (research and build new and existing accounts i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling)
- Provide a world-class first impression and experience for prospects and potential customers that align with organizational values
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications with the intention of increasing customer interest and developing new opportunities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of typical business challenges faced by customers, as well as strategies to handle common objections
Experience & Skills:
- 1-2 years of sales experience (preferably B2B SaaS)
- Ability to effectively prioritize.
- Curious, self-driven, and self-motivated.
- Expertise in facilitating customer meetings and presenting in a concise, inspirational, and convincing manner
- Ability to navigate large organizations and gain executive buy-in, as well as expertise facilitating customer meetings and presentations
- Willingness to be creative with communication and strategies around developing new opportunities
Compensation
The starting salary band for this role for candidates at the targeted skill and experience level is $64,660 - $75,970. On Target Earnings for this role (variable compensation) is $86,213 - $101,293.
