Position Summary:
Upnyx Innovative Solutions is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Onboarding HR Intern to support our Human Resources team. This unpaid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the onboarding process, helping to create a smooth transition for new hires as they join our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing orientation schedules, sending out welcome emails, and organizing onboarding materials.
- Support in the creation and management of employee onboarding documentation, ensuring all required forms and documents are completed accurately and timely.
- Help facilitate virtual onboarding sessions, including introductions, company overviews, and training on internal systems.
- Maintain and update onboarding checklists, ensuring all steps are completed for each new hire.
- Provide administrative support in setting up new hires with necessary tools and resources, such as email accounts and access to company systems.
- Assist in gathering feedback from new employees about their onboarding experience and suggest improvements to the process.
- Collaborate with HR team members to ensure a positive and seamless onboarding experience for all new employees.
- Contribute to various HR projects related to employee engagement and retention.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of HR processes and employee onboarding.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A proactive approach with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- High level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
