About the role

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Argo Labs, you will be at the forefront of developing, designing, and implementing innovative machine learning solutions that drive our products forward. You will design and deploy machine learning models to solve complex real-world problems.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement cutting-edge ML models that solve real-world problems.

• Transform cutting-edge research into practical applications.

• Work closely with researchers, software engineers, and product managers to tackle complex challenges

• Develop scalable data pipelines and fine-tune models for optimal performance.

• Ensure our AI agents are robust, efficient, and ready for production environments.

• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and maintain high engineering standards.

• Monitor and improve deployed models to enhance user experiences. Your work will directly shape the future of human-AI interaction.

• Stay current with AI advancements

You might be a good fit if you

• Have a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or have done significant work in Machine Learning.

• 2+ years of relevant industry experience in a fast paced, high growth tech environment.

• Possess strong experience with deep learning and transformer models.

• Are proficient in PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Have a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.

• Are familiar with large language models, including training, fine-tuning, and optimization techniques.

• Have experience with or interest in conversational AI, dialogue systems, or natural language processing.

• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

• Can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Enjoy owning problems end-to-end and are eager to acquire new skills as needed.

• Will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, early-stage startup environment.

• (Bonus) Have first-hand experience building an early-stage startup.
