As we stride towards becoming an influential media voice in business growth, audience engagement, and digital marketing, we are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. This role is fully remote, and perfect for someone looking for an opportunity to make an impact on a fast-growing scaleup.

Role Responsibilities:

  • You will play a pivotal role in elevating our digital presence across our YouTube channel, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms, as well as enhancing our website with enriching content.
  • Execute high-quality video edits using Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effect, Descript, CapCut or similar software.
  • Craft motion design elements to embellish our content and engage our audience.
  • Edit long-form videos and video podcasts with precision and flair.
  • Create short-form content suitable for a variety of platforms.
  • Create compelling intros that maximise watch time and engage viewers from the outset.
  • Consistently produce volume without compromising on the quality of the content.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to understand project requirements and deliver as per timelines.

Required skills:

  • Proven experience as a video editor, ideally within the tech or digital marketing domain, and experience growing your own social media / YouTube channels is a plus.
  • Expertise in using Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effect, and Descript.
  • Strong capability in motion design.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a passion for perfection.
  • Knowledge of video-based growth marketing techniques to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Demonstrated creativity and the ability to draw inspiration from industry best practices.
  • An understanding of digital platform algorithms, especially YouTube.
  • Experience in creating content that caters to specific KPIs and growth metrics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Understanding French would be a significant plus since we produce content in both languages. However, it’s not a mandatory requirement.
