Note: Our Company utilises Generative AI (e.g. MidJourney, Stable Diffusion) as part of the workflow. However we also require our candidates in animation-related job roles to have excellent skills in both hand-drawn and non-AI digital art.
Salary: £25000 to £32000 per year depending on qualifications and experience + approximately £3500 per year personal allowance
Key Responsibilities:
Break down Live2D character artwork based on requirements, with some capability in image completion.
Proficiently use Live2D software to create 2D skeletal animations. This includes creating idle and complex animations based on layered character artwork or cards, as well as in-game animations such as promotional content and character movements. Ensure character movements adhere to 3D motion principles, with expressive and dynamic facial animations.
Produce and optimize Live2D animations according to project specifications.
Possess a deep understanding of physical motion laws and demonstrate strong creativity in animation design.
Able to complete character artwork, refine skeletal structures, and make necessary modifications.
Use Live2D to build 2D models for animation.
Create and animate character expressions, movements, and integrate accessories and physical effects like hair flow based on project needs.
Requirements:
Degree in Animation or a related field, with proficiency in at least one 2D animation software and a digital drawing tool.
Familiarity with the process of creating, rigging, animating, and exporting complex components.
Strong drawing skills, a solid grasp of animation principles, and a strong ability to convey motion.
Experience with and passion for anime-style games, especially mobile games.
Strong sense of responsibility and excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Note: Candidates with an animation background but no Live2D experience who are passionate about anime are welcome. Learning opportunities are provided, with multiple assessments during the internship. Successful candidates may be offered a permanent position.
