Lemonet is a comprehensive link-building marketplace designed to assist brands and agencies in enhancing their SEO through the acquisition of high-quality backlinks and digital PR advertorials. With a growing database of over 85,000 media outlets spanning various niches and geographic regions, Lemonet streamlines the process of finding, assessing, and purchasing backlinks to improve search engine rankings and online authority.
The company is profitable and growing rapidly. We require an experienced marketing manager to come in and handle digital marketing inititives and activites to scale lead and user acquisition.
This is a new role as we need dedicated focus to help build the funnel from top to bottom and increase demand so we can transition from high touch sales to low touch product led land and scale aquisition.
Here's what'll you'll work on, help with or own entirely:
TOTF (Top of the Funnel) Initiatives
- Content Marketing: Publish SEO and link-building guides, case studies, and industry news on blogs and social media.
- SEO Optimization: Enhance Lemonet's website for targeted keywords to increase organic traffic.
- Social Media Campaigns: Engage audiences on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook with informative posts and success stories.
- PR and Media Outreach: Secure mentions and features in industry publications and digital marketing blogs.
- Demand Generation: Implement targeted demand generation campaigns using CPC (cost-per-click) ads to attract qualified traffic.
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Develop targeted campaigns for key B2B accounts to generate interest and engagement.
MOTF (Middle of the Funnel) Initiatives
- Email Nurturing Campaigns: Send targeted emails with case studies, user testimonials, and success stories.
- Demo and Trial Offers: Provide free trials or demos to showcase platform capabilities and build trust.
- Lead Magnets: Create and offer downloadable resources like eBooks, whitepapers, and checklists in exchange for contact information.
- Case Studies: Share detailed case studies showing how Lemonet has improved SEO for existing clients.
- Performance Tracking: Use analytics to monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven adjustments.
- B2B Marketing: Implement ABM strategies and retargeting ads to nurture and convert high-value leads.
BOTF (Bottom of the Funnel) Initiatives
- Personalized Discounts and Promotions: Offer time-limited discounts or incentives to encourage conversions.
- Customer Testimonials and Reviews: Highlight positive reviews and testimonials to build credibility and encourage final purchase decisions.
- Referral Programs: Implement referral incentives to leverage existing customers for new leads and conversions.
- Content Optimization: Regularly update and optimize content based on performance analytics to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
- Affiliation Setup and Management: Establish and manage affiliate programs to expand reach and drive sales through partner networks.
- Advertising and Retargeting: Use targeted ads and retargeting strategies to re-engage potential customers and drive conversions.
These initiatives, encompassing awareness, engagement, and conversion tactics, ensure a comprehensive approach to driving traffic, nurturing leads, and converting them into loyal customers for Lemonet's link-building marketplace.
You don’t need to have a ton of experience. Today, people can learn anything. We place more value on mid-level knowledge and experience, and someone who can hustle to get results. We are looking for a hardworking, eager-to-learn, and smart person who can manage a lot.

Initially, this role is a contracting position, but it will become full-time. As you can see, there is a lot to do.
